Year two have been thinking about how the Fire of London changed the lives of Londoners. We role played what might have happened the night of the fire and who played an important role in building London. We’ve also been using our physical oracy skills in role play and partner talk.

Year three pupils have started their rehearsals for Goldilocks and Jack and the Beanstalk. Children in 3A and 3B have already learned some of their lines at home and were very professional during their rehearsal. Pupils have been using physical oracy skills to think about their character attributes.
Year 3 have written, learned and performed dinosaur acrostic poems this term. They have been focusing on using gestures to help memorise their poems and have been improving their expression and eye contact to engage the audience. They shared their poems and sung Spanish songs with Mrs Maria’s class.
