Year 5 teachers toned their willow skills ready for next week’s visit by Bow Artist, Julia Clarke. The children will be creating a nautical themed frieze outside the Art Room.

5D sketched in chalk, some of Henry Moore’s “Shelter Drawings” from the time he went into the London Underground during WWII and observed people sheltering from German air raids. Then, the whole class started designing their own sculptures by first sketching classmates in different poses, and then forming a shape around the figures.
