We’re trying something new this year and using online tutors to support some of the year 6 children and further their learning. Watch this space to see how it goes.
Year 6 had a go at mixing their colours to make a background and foreground for paintings of flowers and undergrowth. Using complimentary colours they let the water on their paper blend the colours together before completing the painting with bolder, brighter colours, once the background had dried.
This is a model of Rio de Janeiro. We built it in just over two hours. In our topic we learnt about the beautiful landmarks such as Christ the Redeemer, Maracana stadium, Sugar Loaf Mountains, and the Copacabaña beach. We would like to suggest to Mr Cleary that we could arrange a trip to Rio. 6C
