The children participating in the ERASMUS + Project, “There, Here; Proud to be ME”, have been honoured with the visit of the Labour MP for Newham, Mr Stephen Timms and his assistant Sophia.
Children are working on the HERE part of the project and finding out what mechanisms are there in Newham to support families who arrive at our borough from different countries. Participating children thought of the information that they wanted to find out and formulated a few questions. They have addressed these questions to Mr Timms today and they have got a great deal of information that will support their project.
The children have shown very good oracy skills and maturity and they have been invited to visit the houses of Parliament!!
We thank Mr Timms for making time to visit us and support our ERASMUS + project.
