Children from Year 5 and 6 travelled to the University of East London to take part in art workshops and photo shoots last week.
Photographs of the children and their artwork will be used to promote this year's Art Matters Exhibition of over 50 schools in East London. The exhibition is the biggest of its kind in East London and has been running for 23 years; it includes children's work from Nursery up to Secondary School and College.
The Sandringham children worked both at home and at school on a theme of personal identity, including memorabilia, photographs and colours that they thought best represented them. They created individual sculptures and combined these with facial designs and their choice of clothing.
The children also created a video of their work - have a look at Our Blog.
