Sandringham Primary School before school child care - Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club offers child care before the start of the school day.

Parents and carers can drop children off from 7:30am. A healthy breakfast is served until 8:10am, after which children can enjoy supervised play activities before the school day begins and then dropped off in their class lines at the start of the school day.

There are limited spaces for pre-school aged children, but as a school we will always seek to accommodate families where there is a need. Please book in advance to allow us to manage food and staffing levels. The cost of breakfast club is £3 per child this should be paid in advance.

Breakfast Club Positive Behaviour Expectations

• Be Kind and Respectful
  Speak politely to staff and other children. Use kind words and actions at all times.

• Be Safe
  Walk indoors—no running or rough play. Follow adult instructions straight away.

• Be Responsible
  Look after equipment, food, and the Breakfast Club space. Tidy up after yourself and help keep the area clean.

• Include Everyone
  Be friendly and make sure no one is left out.
  Play and sit with different children if you can.

• Be a Role Model
  Remember, Breakfast Club is for children of all ages.Older children should set a good example by showing the expected behaviour to younger ones—help them feel welcome and supported.

If Behaviour Becomes a Concern

If a child struggles to follow the behaviour expectations, staff will:

1. Give a gentle reminder or warning about the behaviour.

2. Share any ongoing concerns with parents or carers to work together in supporting positive choices.

If inappropriate behaviour continues, this may result in a child no longer being able to attend Breakfast Club.
