We are looking forward to welcoming our families back to school in September after what has been a challenging time for all of us. We have made some significant changes to our normal school routines in order to ensure the safety of all children, families and staff members. We know that you understand the reasons behind these changes and you will continue to support the school in our endeavour to bring the children back to school safely.
For September, the plan involves all staff returning on the Tuesday 01 - 04 September. This time will be used to prepare for the return of our children.
On Friday 10 July, The school informed parents and caregivers of each child’s specific date of return, time and location to enter school. Please note that this information will be different for all families.
On the 7 September, half of each class (approx. 15 children) will return to school for one week (7 - 11 September). These children will not come into school the following week (week commencing 14 September).
On 14 September half of each class (approx. 15 children) will return to school for one week (14- 18 September). These children will not have come into school the previous week (week commencing 07 September).
On the 21 September, all children will return to school.
Children of Key workers will attend school from Monday 07 September.
The plan for Pre-School, maintained Nursery and Reception will be different for the week commencing 07 and 14 September. Families will receive letters week commencing 13 July 2020.
Please remember these plans could change.
The school has set up a new email address related to Covid-19 enquiries only. If you need to tell the school about a case of Covid-19 in your household, please email email@example.com.
Finally, Sandringham staff have provided online learning, Zoom sessions and personal telephone calls during the lockdown to all our families. These will stop when the school breaks for the summer on Wednesday 15 July 2020.
If you have any further questions please email the school at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To assist our communities, the school has translated the FAQ video in different languages.
