Year 2 made clay tiles today. They were based on wooden houses during the Fire of London, 1666. The children used different marking tools to show features of the house like windows, doors, beams and wooden textures.
They then added very delicate flames rising from the rafters and windows.
All the tiles will be dried, fired and glazed.
